The End Result: {The Emerald City}

Took a quick trip to Seattle on a rainy day and saw no potential for the sun to come out.  As the last daylight hour came closer, the sun seemed to peak out of the clouds to make for the perfect setting.  Although there was still a winter chill in the air, the thought of the little glimpse of sun made it all worth it.

The sequins on the skirt of my dress received the perfect amount of light to let them gleam underneath the sheer overlay.  I felt that the colors resembled the subdued tones of the buildings and the sheen of the glass that composed them.  This outfit was literally something that I just threw together on a whim and felt that it was something different but resemblant of my personal style.

I absolutely love the infinity scarf, a recent purchase, only because of the great price due to end of season sales.  The red lip is a completely new addition; I have been so compelled to try it and may do a tutorial soon for how I decided to apply this daring shade.

Hope you enjoy this whole ensemble. Be sure to look at the inspirations for this look under "The Set-Up".
