It seems like the more I wear these darn boyfriend jeans, the comfier and comfier they get.  I've managed to style them every which way I possibly can (also here) just in the past two weeks since I got them.  I keep pulling them on in the morning without realizing till I'm out the door thinking, "Didn't I just wear these?!?" I have a completely obsessive adoration for stripes as of late.  The print always works from a casual look to being all dressed up.  And for some odd reason navy stripes always make me feel like I should set sail, somewhere nice and warm, in my dreams at least.

The Latest: {Be Bold}

Red pants (last seen here) or any colored pants for that matter will always add just a little or a lot of interest to any outfit.  It's the pop of color that makes the look less boring and more adventurous.

Current Cravings: {Dark Cherry Lips}

A very dark red lip was a focal point on the 2012 Fall Ready-To-Wear runways.  The rich color is captivating and is paired with a fresh face or a lightly done-up eye.  The hue reminds me very much of Snow White, as the dark shade makes the most porcelain of skin seem so pristine.  This daring look is the perfect compliment to any fall look.

The Latest: {Vintage Find}

So for a while now I had searched and searched for the perfect leather cross body bag.  I did my research, which involved much window shopping in-store and online. I came across the idea of getting a vintage Coach bag circa the 1970s and 1980s (inspired by this blogger and her bag) and fell in love with the craftsmanship of that time and the classic designs.

I spent a lot of time in Seattle this past summer, specifically in Pike's Place Market, exploring the shops in and around the area.  On one visit there, I discovered this woman who sold just these very bags I had set my heart on.  Though I didn't get to make a purchase the one time I saw her, I feared I had lost my chance.

I told my mother about my interest in these bags and as she always does, she kept that idea in mind.  A while had passed and one day my mother surprised me with the bag I had been lusting over.  I am so thankful for my mother's love and that she pays attention to everything that I always hint at having interest in.

The woman who sold the bag was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about these vintage pieces and she also sells a number of other items in her Etsy shop StarShineVintage.  Be sure to check her shop out, you may just find something you've been searching for as well.
