The Latest: {Bittersweet}

The summer season is soon ending; it happens every year but somehow it's always a bittersweet transition.  I love the long days and the sunshine that wakes me up in the morning.  But I am also ready for the crisp air and the crunch of falling leaves soon to come.  I'll be sure to enjoy every last moment I have of this seemingly carefree season.

I've just come to notice her style and have become fascinated by her eagerness to delve into high fashion pieces when on the red carpet.  Her personal style is much more relaxed with a hippie vibe but when she's out for an event she goes for ultra-feminine pieces with the most delicate details.

The Latest: {All Smiles}

This look is a mash-up of my favorite pair of pants and a blouse that I originally saw here.  I found it on sale in store and realized after that it was the exact same one so I was incredibly stoked!

Other than being particularly excited about that, while taking these photos my sister was making fun of my serious face.  Although I had some serious faces in this shoot I decidedly chose to go with the "on the brink of laugher" photos.  I'll admit it is so much more in tune with my actual personality.

Current Cravings: {Button Down}

I can't stress just how much I love button down tops, they're versatile and easy to wear.  They are instant polishing pieces and are pretty effortless (other than the work to fasten those tiny buttons).  I feel that they can fit any personal style cause the pairings are endless, from workwear to casual day looks.

The Latest: {DIY Neon Necklace}

I love being crafty and letting my creativity run wild.  Just the task of creating something is a very therapeutic process for me.  The result was overly satisfactory and I am so tempted to make another, maybe in a pastel or jewel tone color palette.

I bought the necklace at Forever 21 (some other styles here, here and here) and used the Color Club "Electro Candy" nail polish set.  The neon colors added the perfect pop of color and each had a pearlescent sheen to them.

The Latest: {Neon Pop}

Bright colors are absolutely fun; it's like I have a magnetic radar to find such eye-catching pieces.  This has definitely been a go-to outfit of mine this summer cause it's incredibly effortless and simple.
